One Clinical Council
Accelerating progress and driving improvements through collaboration across sponsors & sites
Advancing Clinical Research Through Collaboration
The One Clinical Council brings together leaders from biopharma sponsors and clinical research sites to address systemic challenges and accelerate progress across the clinical trial ecosystem. Recognizing that advancing clinical research is a shared responsibility, the Council identifies friction points and co-creates actionable solutions that benefit the entire industry.
Council members include executives from leading sites such as Northwell Health, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and SiteBridge Research, alongside top global biopharma sponsors.
Veeva facilitates the Council to facilitate open dialogue, empowering members to drive direction and impact without dictating outcomes.

Streamlining and Standardizing Training
The Council unanimously decided to prioritize reducing redundant, overly complex training requirements. Members collaborate to eliminate non-protocol training burdens and establish standardized best practices across the industry.
Optimizing Study Design Upfront
The council works to establish mechanisms for biopharma sponsors to gather and integrate meaningful site-level feedback early in protocol development. This effort makes clinical trials more feasible and efficient.
Informing Better Site Selection
Members explore ways to improve the site selection methodology. They aim to transform it into the bidirectional process that empowers sites and sponsors to make better clinical trial decisions.
Strengthening Industrywide Communication
A foundational goal of the group is to increase visibility and close the communication gaps across the clinical trial ecosystem of sponsors, CROs, and sites.
